Journey 38
Guided Fishing Trip, August 27 - 28, 2011

A 6 year old boy who is currently fighting ALL Leukemia requested to go fishing on a boat. He will be undergoing treatment for 2 1/2 more years if all goes well. He and his mother enjoyed bowling and spent the night at a Hotel in Fairplay, Colorado on August 27 before spending the day fishing on August 28th thanks to Nathan Zelinsky from Tightline Outdoors who donated this Journey.

As his mother said, they had a wonderful day and Nathan was very flexible, patient and great with her son, he made it a very special day for both of them.

Nathan picked them up at the hotel, and took them to Antero Reservoir to fish.

The young man had a great time and ended up catching 5 fish!.

Nathan taught him a lot about his boat which was just as fascinating to him as the actual fishing.

When the young man began to lose interest, Nathan suggested casting and taught him how to cast as well.

Before heading home they they went back to Fairplay and visited the restored old mining town.

Joseph's Journey covered all other expenses and Tightline Ourdoors donated their entire portion of the Journey.

Thank you Nathan Zelinsky!
